(DCWatchdog.com) – Barely concealing her gloating, a grinning Hillary Clinton declared that she felt “sadness” for America after Donald Trump was indicted for a fourth time — this time in Georgia.
In an interview with host Rachel Maddow on far-left TV network MSNBC, Clinton sought to convince the nation she didn’t “feel any satisfaction” that the man who soundly defeated her for the presidency in 2016 had been indicted four times.
You can watch a video of what took place at the conclusion of this post.
Clinton’s comments came just as Fani Willis, the Democrat DA of Fulton County, Georgia, got a grand jury to indict Trump and 18 other people on charges of allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 election in that state.
Since early April, Trump has also been slapped with two federal indictments by the Biden Justice Department and another indictment by Manhattan’s Democrat DA.
Even though Clinton claimed to have been saddened by the latest criminal charges against a former US president, she and Maddow “shared a laugh together” when the news about the Georgia indictment broke, Newsmax notes in a report.
“I feel just great profound sadness that we have a former president who has been indicted for so many charges that went right to the heart of whether or not our Democracy would survive,” Bill Clinton’s wife declared to the lefty MSNBC host.
“If you stop and think about what the public evidence is … he set out to defraud the United States of America and the citizens of our nation. He used tactics of harassment, intimidation. He made threats, he and his allies went after state officials, local officials responsible for conducting elections,” Clinton alleged about Trump.
The 2016 election loser then piled praise on the investigation by Fulton County DA Fani Willis as being “very thorough.”
“But I don’t know that anybody should be satisfied. This is a terrible moment for our country, to have a former president accused of these terribly important crimes,” Clinton said.
“The only satisfaction maybe is the system is working. That all of the efforts by Donald Trump, his allies, and enablers to try to silence the truth, try to undermine Democracy, have been brought to the light, and justice is being pursued,” she concluded, grinning from time to time.
