(DCWatchdog.com) – While giving a speech at a prestigious university in the United Kingdom, students heckled former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, calling her a “warmonger” and issuing a warning that they meant business.

84-year-old Pelosi was addressing the Oxford Union when two students dressed in smart attire stood up in front of her with a Palestinian flag. Some in the audience booed as they realized what was happening.
Despite the interruption, Pelosi, who advocated for peace in Gaza during her speech, attempted to continue speaking while the students awkwardly stood at the podium.
Eventually, the police removed them while the audience applauded the smart decision.
The group Youth Demand later accepted the responsibility for the disruption and shared video footage of the incident.
“Warmongers like Nancy Pelosi are not welcome on University campuses,” the group stated, advocating to “end the genocide” in Gaza.
They continued, “When children are being murdered, and hospitals are being bombed, we will not sit down and be quiet while these people are given platforms.”
They also emphasized their determination, stating, “We must stand up and take action, because we aren’t f–king around anymore.”
During her speech, Pelosi stressed the need to end the suffering in Gaza and underscored the importance of peace for both sides.
The incident at Oxford occurred amid ongoing protests at colleges and universities across the US.
In New York, Columbia University and NYU have been dealing with anti-Israel demonstrators setting up encampments on their campuses.
Additionally, the University of Southern California canceled its “main stage” graduation ceremony due to protests on its campus.
