If True, Biden Loses

(DCWatchdog.com) – Joe Biden might already be certain to lose the 2024 election based on the results of a new poll by Rasmussen, which has revealed a significant gap in voter sentiment towards him, with only 21 percent expressing “strong” approval and 49 percent indicating “strong” disapproval.

The poll demonstrated a substantial 20-point gap between those who approve and those who disapprove of Biden’s presidency. His job performance is approved only by 39 percent of the voters overall, while 59 percent said they disapproved.

Biden’s Presidential Approval Index rating stands at -28 points, which is calculated by subtracting the 21 percent of strong approval from the 49 percent of strong disapproval.

This rating marks the lowest since July 2022 when it was at -29, Breitbart News reports.

During the summer of 2022, the United States faced escalating gas prices and inflation rates.

Although the rate of inflation has decreased by 2024, costs are projected to continue rising, with no expectations to revert to the pre-Biden era levels.

For example, the price of a Big Mac meal now reaches $18 in certain locations, a sharp increase from $8 in 2018 during the tenure of former President Donald Trump.

Initially, Biden began his term with a -2 Presidential Approval Index rating, which is 26 points higher than the current rating nearly three years later. His rating remained relatively stable until the catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan, which resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. troops.

The rating persisted in the high 20s and low 30s until 2022, when Biden lifted numerous severe coronavirus restrictions, but it declined to the teens for most of 2023 until a resurgence on October 7.

The decline in Biden’s approval ratings in 2024 is attributed to his management of the unrest in the Middle East and the growing discontent among anti-Israel protestors. Despite opposition from his political base, Biden continues to authorize funding and arms sales to Israel.

Former President Donald Trump criticized Biden’s leadership, particularly in response to university-level protests.

“What’s going on at the college level and the colleges Columbia, NYU, and others is a disgrace. And it’s really on Biden. He has the wrong signal,” Trump told reporters Tuesday.

“He’s got the wrong words. He doesn’t know who he’s backing, and it’s a mess,” he added.

Trump further blamed Biden for the current state of the nation.

“It’s all Biden’s fault. He’s got no message. He’s got no compassion. He doesn’t know what he’s doing … He can’t put two sentences together, frankly. He is the worst president in the history of our country,” he declared.

The poll surveyed 300 likely voters nightly with a margin of error of 2.5 points.
