In an early Sunday announcement, the Israel Defense Forces revealed Iran initiated an assault with 170 drones, more than 30 cruise missiles, and upwards of 120 ballistic missiles. Impressively, over 99 % of these were intercepted.
Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari praised this defensive feat as “a very significant strategic success,” noting the minimal number of projectiles that actually made landfall in Israel.

Moreover, Joe Biden affirmed during a weekend declaration that the U.S. military assisted Israel in neutralizing “nearly all” of the Iranian drones and missiles. He stated:
“At my direction, to support the defense of Israel, the U.S. military moved aircraft and ballistic missile defense destroyers to the region over the course of the past week. Thanks to these deployments and the extraordinary skill of our servicemembers, we helped Israel take down nearly all of the incoming drones and missiles.”
In the face of these challеnges, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Nеtanyahu stood firm and affirmed Israel’s readiness to counter any threats.
“Our defense systems are deployed, and we are prepared for any scenario, both in defense and offense. The State of Israel is strong, the IDF is strong, the public is strong,” the Prime Minister said.
He also expressed gratitude towards the U.S. and other supportive nations, adding, “I established a clear principle — whoever hurts us, we will hurt them. We will defend ourselves from any threat and we will do so calmly and with determination.”
