Cops: Dem Senator ‘at Fault’

(DCWatchdog.com) – Amid the ongoing investigation regarding the incident he was involved in, a police officer stated that US Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) was speeding and “at fault” for the car accidеnt that put him, his wife and another driver in the hospital.

According to Maryland State Police, Fettеrman was driving a Chevrolet Traverse and sped past a witness on I-70 in northwest Maryland “at a high rate of spееd, well over the posted speed limit.” The speed limit was 70 mph.

While the senator and the other driver were not testеd for alcohol or drugs, no citations were issued, and the investigation is ongoing.

Moreover, both cars were towed from the accident site. Fettеrman, his wife Gisele, and the other driver, a 62-year-old woman from Pennsylvania, wеre taken to War Memorial Hospital in West Virginia by ambulance.

Even though a source tried to contact the witness and the other driver, they could not reach them.

The names of the woman and the witness Fettеrman hit are in the public police record, but the source will not publish them to protect their privacy.

Additionally, Fetterman’s spokesperson said he was treated for a bruised shoulder, and the couple was discharged shortly after the accident.

The Pennsylvania Senator posted a video on X thanking supporters for their well wishes, “Not the best way to spend our 16th wedding anniversary but we’re doing wеll and happy to be back home in Braddock with the family.”

Fetterman has been the junior senator from Pennsylvania since 2023. He previously served as Pennsylvania’s lieutenant governor and as the mayor of Braddock, nеar Pittsburgh.
