Presidential Debate Coin Toss Results

Democrats versus Republicans

( – In what can be considered a positive turn of events for Donald Trump, CNN has announced the former president will deliver the final remarks in the upcoming presidential debate on June 27.

This decision follows a coin toss won by President Joe Biden’s campaign, which chose the position on the stage for Biden.

Consequently, Trump’s team opted for the last speaking slot, The Daily Caller reports.

“Former President Donald Trump will get the final word when he debates President Joe Biden on CNN next week, after a coin flip to determine podium placement and the order of closing statements,” CNN detailed in their announcement of the debate logistics.

“The coin landed on the Biden campaign’s pick — tails — which meant his campaign got to choose whether it wanted to select the president’s podium position or the order of closing statements,” the leftist network added.

In preparation for the debate, both campaigns consented to specific conditions: microphones will be muted when it isn’t a speaker’s turn, there will be no live audience, only pre-written notes are allowed, and there will be two commercial breaks.

“Biden’s campaign chose to select the right podium position, which means the Democratic president will be on the right side of television viewers’ screens and his Republican rival will be on viewers’ left. Trump’s campaign then chose for the former president to deliver the last closing statement, which means Biden will go first at the conclusion of the debate,” CNN explained further.

During the debate, various individuals speculated to be Trump’s vice-presidential candidates will gather at a watch party.

This event is organized by the Republican National Committee (RNC) and former Republican Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler.

Additionally, Republican South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, another potential vice-presidential nominee, is expected to attend the debate alongside Trump.
