VIDEO: Emergency Declared

(DCWatchdog.com) – In a new move proclaiming that America is under an illegal alien invasion, the Republican Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, declared an emergency and sent Texas National Guard troops to the Southern Border.

“I officially declared an invasion at our border because of Biden’s policies,” Abbott announced on Wednesday in a post on X.

“We deployed the Texas National Guard, Department of Public Safety, and local law enforcement. We are building a border wall, razor wire, and marine barriers. We are also repelling migrants,” the GOP governor added.

More than 7 million illegal immigrants, including about 2 million gotaways, have invaded the US since Joe Biden occupied the White House just 2.5 years ago, according to Customs and Border Protection data and estimates.

In another social media post, the Texas governor accused the Biden administration of sending border agents to remove the razor wire that the state installed, thus allowing invading illegal immigrants to pass more easily.

“Texas installed razor wire in Eagle Pass to stop illegal crossings. Today the Biden Admin CUT that wire, opening the floodgates to illegal immigrants,” the governor wrote.

His post featured a one-and-a-half-minute video, purportedly of federal border agents removing the obstacle to migrants.

“I immediately deployed more Texas National Guard to repel illegal crossings and install more razor wire,” Abbott added.

Nearly a year ago, the governor sent a letter to Biden, accusing him of staging a migrant invasion.

“Your inaction has led to catastrophic consequences. Under your watch, America is suffering the highest volume of illegal immigration in the history of our country,” Abbott wrote to the president in November 2022.

The Biden administration has mounted a legal challenge to Texas’ installing razor wire and water barriers in the Rio Grande, claiming it violated the Rivers and Harbors Appropriation Act.

Meanwhile, Roland Gutierrez, a Democrat state senator challenging Republican US Senator Ted Cruz for his seat, wrote on social media that Americans at the border were resisting the governors’ border security and protection measures because those were “inhumane.”

“The citizens and community of Eagle Pass are fighting back against the inhumane treatment of migrants under Operation Lone Star,” the Democrat claimed.
