(DCWatchdog.com) – In a significant turn of events for the embattled former New York City Mayor, Rudy Giuliani’s radio show on WABC Radio has been abruptly canceled, and he also was suspended due to his statements about the 2020 election.
“We’re not going to talk about fallacies of the November 2020 election,” WABC Radio owner and host John Catsimatidis said.
“We warned him once. We warned him twice. And I get a text from him last night, and I get a text from him this morning that he refuses not to talk about it,” he continued.
“So,” Catsimatidis added, “he left me no option. I suspended him.”
Giuliani took to the social platform and claimed that Catsimatidis and WABC “fired me for refusing to comply with their overly broad directive stating I’m, ‘prohibited from engaging in conversations relating to the 2020 Presidential Election.’”
Giuliani continued in his thread, saying that such a decision clearly violated the Fifth Amendment right.
“WABC’s decision comes at a very suspicious time, just months before the 2024 election, and just as John (@JCats2013) and WABC continue to be pressured by Dominion Voting Systems and the Biden regime’s lawyers,” he added.
Moreover, Giuliani’s dissemination of false claims about fraud in the 2020 presidential election has led to significant financial repercussions. Last year, a jury ordered him to pay $148 million to former Georgia election workers he baselessly accused of fraud.
In a new filing, Giuliani’s lawyers said he is having trouble finding help with accounting duties for his bankruptcy case.
He reached out to a number of accounting firms for assistance, but no one seemed interested in taking the assignment.
