AOC Calls Biden WHAT?!

(DCWatchdog.com) – In an attempt to paint a different picture in the face of a damaging report questioning his mental fitness, Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) recently took the stage to defend Joe Biden’s age.

Dismissing the increasing concerns over his fitness for office AOC proclaimed Biden as “one of the most successful presidents in modern American history” during a CNN interview.

She highlighted the age similarity between 81-year-old Biden and 77-year-old Donald Trump and suggested their age difference is insignificant.

Ocasio-Cortez went on to discuss Trump’s legal challenges while strongly endorsing Biden by lauding Democrat initiatives like the climate change investment and the American Rescue Plan.

AOC’s defense comes amid heightened scrutiny of Biden’s age especially following a report by special counsel Robert Hur that documented instances of Biden’s forgetfulness.

Although Hur stopped short from recommending charging Biden with any wrongdoing in handling classified documents, his report suggested Biden suffers from “diminished faculties” which prompted Biden’s team and allies to defend his mental sharpness.

Public concern over Biden’s capability to serve another term due to his age is significant following a recent ABC News/Ipsos poll that showed that 86% of Americans doubt his ability to complete another term.

Ocasio-Cortez dismissed these concerns and instead commented on the critical nature of the 2024 election by claiming that Trump poses a potential danger to democracy if re-elected.

AOC is known for her progressive stance and her support for Bernie Sanders in the 2020 Democratic primary. She has also criticized Biden’s policies but remains a vocal advocate for liberal values.

She has also been critical of Biden’s approach to international issues like his order to halt funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency due to concerns that its staff has ties to the terrorist group Hamas.

Biden already is the oldest president in U.S. history and would be 86 at the end of a second term while Trump would surpass Biden as the oldest president if he were re-elected and served another term.
