Trump: ‘Democrats Are Bad for Israel’ (Video)

(DCWatchdog.com) – In what seems like one of the most vital lessons in today’s politics, former President Donald Trump has declared that “Democrats are bad for Israel,” as he reacted to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s demand that Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu be removed to secure peace with the Hamas terrorists.

In a Fox News interview on Sunday, Trump voiced strong criticism toward Schumer (D-NY) who last Thursday made a Senate floor speech, calling Netanyahu an “obstacle to peace” in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Israel has been engaged in a massive military operation in the Gaza Strip to destroy the Palestinian Arab Islamist terror group Hamas, which massacred over 1,400 Israelis and foreigners on October 7.

Schumer, possibly the most prominent Jewish figure in today’s American politics and a staunch Israel advocate, attacked Netanyahu for supposedly losing sight of the right path and allowing civilian casualties in Gaza, which supposedly brought global support for Israel to unprecedented lows.

During an interview on Fox News’ “MediaBuzz,” hosted by Howard Kurtz, Trump was asked whether Schumer’s call for elections was an unwarranted interference in the internal affairs of a sovereign ally.

“One hundred percent. There’s no question about it,” stated the presumed presidential nominee of the GOP.

“The Democrats are very bad for Israel. Israel sticks with them. I guess Israel is loyal, maybe to a fault, because they stick with these guys. Biden is so bad for Israel,” he elaborated.

Trump further expressed bewilderment at Israel’s continued association with the Democrat leadership given these circumstances.

He added Schumer seemed to be betraying Israel to gain far-leftist and Muslim voters in the United States.

“[Schumer] looks at, ‘Where do I get more votes?’ And I guess he’s seeing, you know, the Palestinians, and he’s seeing the marches, and they are big. Then he says, ‘I want to go that way instead of Israel.’ I don’t know how Israel stays with these two people. I just don’t know,” Trump explained.

“But he obviously said, ‘I see a lot of people protesting out there, and they happen to be Palestinians or wherever from the Middle East,’” he continued. “And he was probably shocked to see it, and all of a sudden he dumped Israel. That’s what he’s doing,” he concluded.
