(DCWatchdog.com) – Just moments ago, while revealing the latest deadly news from Ukraine, veteran foreign correspondent Richard Engle asked the question that is on millions of Americans’ minds and perhaps the minds of billions around the world.
And, because of Engel’s stature in the news media and the respect he’s earned as a foreign correspondent covering every major conflict around the globe in at least the last two decades, you can be sure his statement and proffered dilemma will be heard and reviewed in the White House and all around the globe.
Moments ago, Engel tweeted:
Perhaps the biggest risk-calculation/moral dilemma of the war so far. A massive Russian convoy is abt 30 miles from Kyiv. The US/NATO could likely destroy it. But that would be direct involvement against Russia and risk, everything. Does the West watch in silence as it rolls?

If Engle is correct, and there’s no reason to believe he is not, the “massive Russian convoy” growing close to Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine, will soon be slaughtering Ukrainians as part of Vladimir Putin’s plan to overthrow the Ukrainian government.
As Engle implies, the convoy is positioned in such a way that the United States and/or NATO airpower (really the same) could destroy the convoy because of the superior aircraft the U.S. could launch at a moment’s notice.
Yet, President Joe Biden has said he will not use American military power inside the borders of Ukraine.
Hence the moral dilemma.
Does Biden sit back and allow the slaughter and overthrow to move forward? Does NATO do the same? Will all Western countries sit back and let Putin kill innocents as he destroys Ukraine?
Please email [email protected] and share your thoughts about what Biden should do, given the reality that Richard Engle points out. Thank you, and have a good day.
