(DCWatchdog.com) – HAPPENING NOW: Just moments ago, while addressing the press corps gathered in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House in Washington, DC, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki announced that the administration of President Joe Biden believes Russia will soon launch a military attack on Ukraine.
Biden is dispatching Secretary of State Antony Blinken to the region to see if a last-minute diplomatic solution can be reached while simultaneously threatening severe economic sanctions on Russia if Russian President Vladimir Putin does decide to invade Ukraine further.

According to Psaki:
“So, let’s be clear. Our view is that this is an extremely dangerous situation. We’re now at a stage where Russia could at any point launch an attack in Ukraine. And what Secretary [of State] Blinken is going to go do is highlight very clearly that there is a diplomatic path forward. It is the choice of President Putin and the Russians to make whether they are going to suffer severe economic consequences or not.”
