(DCWatchdog.com) – In an interview with Sean Hannity of Fox News last night slamming the Democrats for dirty politics, former President Donald Trump stated that the only reason he was impeached on January 13, 2021, one week before leaving office, was because of “a perfect phone call” he made to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger following the 2020 election.

During a discussion about how he believes the Democrats engage in dirty politics more so than Republicans, Trump brought up that he was impeached (for the second time) following the 2020 Presidential Election. Trump told Hannity:
“It’s a disgrace. They play a much dirtier game. They’ll [Democrats] impeach you over a phone call that was perfect. Nothing like that has ever happened before. They impeached me over a phone call that was absolutely perfect. You couldn’t of made a better phone call. There was nothing done wrong with that phone call. And they play a much dirtier game, a much tougher game than the Republicans.”
Trump was referencing his January 2, 2021 phone call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger when he said to Raffensperger, “I just want to find 11,780 votes,” which was the number of votes he’d lost by in Georgia, according to Georgia election officials.
