(DCWatchdog.com) – U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), has put forth a radical leftist answer to the recent anti-abortion ruling of the United States Supreme Court, which infuriated pro-abortion activists like herself.
The Supreme Court ruled with a 6-3 conservative majority that the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion on the federal level is unconstitutional, and once again made abortion an issue to be decided upon by each individual state.
The new ruling has sent the Democrats raging, particularly the far-left wing of the Democratic Party which has been dominating it under the Biden administration.
Much of the abortionist outrage was expressed by far-left Sen. Warren, who has called for a radical progressivist onslaught against the U.S. Supreme Court – first, by abolishing the filibuster in the U.S. Senate, and, second, by using that to “pack the Court” with liberal leftist justices who would serve the agenda of the Democratic Party.
“We [need to] get two more senators on the Democratic side, two senators who are willing to protect access to abortion and get rid of the filibuster so that we can pass it… We bring them in, then we’ve got the votes, and we can protect every woman no matter where she lives,” Warren told ABC News in an interview.
The Massachusetts Democrat insisted that abortion is going to be a crucial issue that will determine the outcome of the midterm elections in November even though numerous recent public opinion polls have shown that the American people care much more about the spiking inflation and deteriorating condition of the US economy under President Joe Biden.
With the U.S. Senate presently divided between 50 Democrats and 50 Republicans, with Vice President Kamala Harris holding the tie-breaking vote, the Democrat Senator said her party needs to win just two Senate seats in November to be able to push its court-packing agenda.
“John Fetterman, I’m looking at you in Pennsylvania. Mandela Barnes, I’m looking at you in Wisconsin,” Warren stated, revealing which Democrats she thinks can flip Republican Senate seats.
Despite the fact that the new anti-abortion ruling has been issued in a totally legitimate manner, she claimed that it has destroyed the legitimacy of the Supreme Court.
“I believe we need to get some confidence back in our court and that means we need more justices on the United States Supreme Court … We’ve done it before, we need to do it again,” the Democrat vowed.
