Video: Schumer Attacks ‘MAGA Republicans’ Over School Massacre

(DCWatchdog.com) – Before the 19 fourth-graders and their two teachers slain at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, have even been buried, politicians across the country are using the tragedy to attack members of the opposing party verbally.

And no one has been more vehement in those verbal assaults than United States Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

Yesterday, he took to the floor of the Senate in the United States Capitol to slam “MAGA Republicans” over their refusal to pass the gun control measures Schumer, President Joe Biden, and the Democratic Party want to implement, saying at one point, “No amount of bloodshed seems to be enough for MAGA Republicans.”

As he began his criticism of the GOP, Schumer opined:

“These families [of the victims] don’t want thoughts and prayers. They want their elected leaders to respond to their suffering. They don’t want to be lifted up. They don’t want good intentions. They want something to change. They want results. Yet, the MAGA Republicans don’t want to get the results. They’re ossified in the opposition to any action on gun safety. No matter the cause of violence and no matter the cost on the families, nothing seems to move them…No amount of bloodshed seems to be enough for MAGA Republicans.”
