(DCWatchdog.com) – In a stunning exchange that even many pro-choice audience members found shocking, UC Berkeley Law Profesor Khiara Bridges made it clear during her testimony before the United States Senate that she supports a woman’s decision to abort a baby right up to the moment of birth.

Asked by United States Senator John Cornyn, a Texas Republican and former Texas Attorney General, “Do you think a baby that is delivered alive has value?” Bridges responded, “Yes.”
The exchange continued.
Cornyn: Do you think that a baby that is not yet born has value?
Bridges: I believe that a person with the capacity for pregnancy has value, they have intelligence, they have agency…
Cornyn: I’m talking about the baby.
Bridges: And I’m talking about the person with the capacity…
Cornyn: You’re not answering the question I’m asking. Do you think that a baby that is not yet born—let’s say the day before the mother delivers—do you think that baby has value?
Bridges: I think that the person with the capacity for pregnancy has value, and they should have the ability to control what happens to their lives.
In other words, Professor Bridges believes babies can be aborted right up to the moment of birth.
