(DCWatchdog.com) – A whistleblower exposing the U.S. government’s decades-long cover-ups of UFOs and “alien” aircraft discoveries testified before a GOP-led House committee this week.
The whistleblower, David Grusch, testify on Wednesday before the House Oversight Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs, The Hill reports.
His hearing was headlined “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena: Implications on National Security, Public Safety, and Government Transparency.”
36-year-old Grusch is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, the national reconnaissance officer representative for the Pentagon’s Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) Task Force, and a former member of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
He recently went public with allegations that the U.S. government has been seizing landed or crashed “non-human exotic origin vehicles” for decades while hiding that from the public.
Grusch has claimed that his superiors have prevented him and the UAP Task Force from probing the alleged non-human aircraft retrieval program.
Besides the whistleblower, Wednesday’s hearing featured two other witnesses: Americans for Safe Aerospace Executive Director Ryan Graves and David Fravor, the retired former commanding officer of the Navy strike fighter squadron called the “Black Aces.”
“[The hearing] will explore firsthand accounts of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) and assess the federal government’s transparency and accountability regarding UAPs’ possible threats to U.S. national security,” the House subcommittee said in a release.
“[It] will also highlight legislative efforts to bring transparency to UAPs and require the federal government to provide the American people with information about potential risks to public safety and national security.”
In a recent interview with NewsNation, Grusch said he had a strong suspicion that the government may have killed people to keep the UFO aircraft program secret and that “at least” white-collar crime had been committed to that end.
“The Pentagon and Washington bureaucrats have kept this information hidden for decades, and we’re finally going to shed some light on it. We’re bringing in credible witnesses who can provide public testimony because the American people deserve the truth. We’re done with the cover-ups,” U.S. Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) from the House Oversight Committee said in a statement on the upcoming whistleblower’s hearing.
