Trump’s Amazing Prediction

Former President Donald J. Trump

(DCWatchdog.com) – Amazingly, almost a year ago, former President Donald Trump predicted a merger of the PGA and LIV Golf.

On Tuesday, he was proven correct.

The PGA, which has organized professional golf events in North America since 1929, will merge with the LIV Golf League, a rival organization backed by Saudi Arabia’s royal family, and launched only in June 2022.

However, the “stunning news” about the merger probably didn’t surprise Trump after he predicted it in a Truth Social post in July 2022, Breitbart News points out.

“All of those golfers that remain ‘loyal’ to the very disloyal PGA, in all of its different forms, will pay a big price when the inevitable MERGER with LIV comes, and you get nothing but a big ‘thank you’ from PGA officials who are making Millions of Dollars a year,” the former president warned at the time.

“If you don’t take the money now, you will get nothing after the merger takes place,” he added.

Critics say that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) started LIV Golf to use sports to whitewash the public image of the Saudi monarchy after its murder of dissident Jamal Khashoggi in 2018, amid other accusations of human rights abuses and corruption.

According to Breitbart, LIV Golf players will keep their “massive signing bonuses” and rejoin their colleagues from PGA Tour after the merger.

At the same time, many of the latter have refused to join LIV Golf and take “so-called ‘blood money’” from the Saudis.

The report also comments that Trump “took a victory lap” in a new post on Truth Social after the merger was announced.

“GREAT NEWS FROM LIV GOLF. A BIG, BEAUTIFUL, AND GLAMOROUS DEAL FOR THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF GOLF. CONGRATS TO ALL!!!,” wrote the former president.

“Isn’t that what you want for President, somebody that can predict the future? This seems to be the hot story, but it was my great honor to help. A merger like no other!” he added.

Trump’s golf courses have hosted numerous LIV Golf events.

The report notes PGA Tour “worked hard” “to demonize LIV Golf as the Saudi-backed ‘blood money’ tour.”
