(DCWatchdog.com) – Leftist activists have been warned: President Donald Trump announced he will classify attacks on Tesla dealerships and vehicles as domestic terrorism.
The violence, which includes arson, vandalism, and harassment, has escalated in response to Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s involvement in reducing government waste and bloat.
“Let me tell you, you do it to Tesla, and you do it to any company, we’re going to catch you, and… you’re going to go through hell,” President Trump warned, emphasizing that federal resources would be deployed to identify and prosecute those responsible.
The president’s decisive action has been described as a move to protect American innovation while sending a clear message to radical protesters.
Anti-Tesla protesters have launched a coordinated “Tesla Takedown” campaign across the nation, vandalizing dealerships, torching charging stations, and even harassing Tesla owners.
These incidents have occurred at multiple locations, including Dedham and Littleton in Massachusetts, Lynnwood in Washington, and even internationally in France, where vehicles were set on fire.
President Trump minced no words when addressing the attackers during his recent announcement.
President Trump further demonstrated his support for Tesla by purchasing a Model S, which starts at approximately $80,000.
This personal endorsement comes at a crucial time for the company, which recently experienced stock volatility after analysts reduced delivery projections.
Following President Trump’s announcement of support and terrorism designation, Tesla shares rebounded nearly 4%. “They’re harming a great American company,” the president stated.
The vandalism campaign appears politically motivated, targeting Musk for his role as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in the Trump administration.
Under Musk’s leadership, DOGE has been working to eliminate government waste and reduce the bloated federal workforce, which supporters say have angered the radical left.
Tesla car owner Dr. Kumait Jaroje found a Nazi sticker placed on his Cybertruck in an attempt to intimidate him simply for his vehicle choice.
“When you vandalize people’s property, when you terrorize them for their personal choices this is not acceptable,” said Dr. Jaroje.
“That’s not the right way to do it. Express what you think, talk about it, go online, go protest but don’t vandalize, don’t destroy, don’t terrorize,” he added.
President Trump identified the protesters as the same radical elements disrupting American education.
“They’re bad guys. They’re the same guys that screw around with our schools and universities,” the president noted.
Law enforcement is actively investigating these incidents, with President Trump confirming that surveillance footage has already identified some perpetrators.
The designation of domestic terrorism will allow federal agencies to bring serious charges against those responsible for the vandalism and intimidation campaign.
While the “Tesla Takedown” group claims to be non-violent, the escalating pattern of destruction tells a different story.
