(DCWatchdog.com) – In a powerful new attack against Kamala Harris, in which she is being targeted with the truth, her 2024 presidential election opponent Donald Trump has dropped a bomb by exposing the left’s candidate for refusing to give a real interview.
Former President Trump articulated to Breitbart News his belief that his adversary Harris, will eschew a genuinely substantive interview, opting instead for what he describes as “a soft Democrat interview” with a figure such as ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.
In a comprehensive hour-long dialogue conducted at his opulent seaside resort, Mar-a-Lago, Trump was prompted to comment on Harris’s declaration to journalists that she intended to arrange an interview by the end of August.
Trump speculated that Harris would likely choose an interviewer inclined to pose less challenging questions, avoiding anyone who might rigorously scrutinize her on various issues.
Drawing a parallel, Trump reflected on a previous instance following a debate, noting that outgoing Democrat President Joe Biden sought out Stephanopoulos—who Trump derogatorily nicknamed “Slapadopoulos”—for what he perceived as an undemanding interview.
Stephanopoulos, who served as a top advisor to former President Bill Clinton before his tenure at ABC, was implicated by Trump as a partisan choice.
“She’ll go to a soft Democrat interview like Biden did — he went to Slapadopoulos. That was the softest interview,” the GOP candidate stated.
“I saw him go after Byron Donalds, who’s fantastic. It was vicious the way he went after him. Byron handled it like a fly on your back, just shoved him aside — Byron is very good. Did you see that interview? The viciousness and the way he handled Biden — it was like he was trying to answer the questions for him,” he elaborated.
According to Trump, since Harris has been presumed the Democrat nominee for president following Biden’s withdrawal from the race, she has not participated in any interviews and has consented to only one debate, which will be broadcast on ABC News.
Meanwhile, Trump has agreed to participate in that debate as well as two additional ones on different networks, including Fox News and NBC News.
Trump expressed skepticism regarding Harris’s inclination towards debating at all.
“She doesn’t want to do one debate, either,” he stated.
