(DCWatchdog.com) – Caught in a grim war zone in Ukraine, burdened with extreme losses and inadequate support from their supposed allies, the Russians, North Korean soldiers are reportedly choosing to commit suicide to avoid capture.

Reports from Ukraine indicate that these soldiers are facing dire conditions and shocking casualties, a situation many soldiers are willing to sadly escape via suicide.

North Korean troops in Russia’s Kursk region are facing high casualties amidst dire battlefield conditions.

According to sources, these soldiers, deployed to support Russia’s military efforts, are sent into “human wave” attacks, often resulting in staggering losses.

Over 1,000 deaths have been reported in the Kursk region alone, highlighting the harsh reality faced by the troops.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has pointed out that North Korean soldiers are often compelled to take extreme measures to avoid capture.

They fear the possibility of severe repercussions if caught or upon their return to North Korea. This fear drives some to tragically choose suicide over surrender, adding layers to an already disastrous deployment.

“North Korean troops are being treated as “expendable” and ordered to take on “hopeless assaults against Ukrainian defenses,”” said U.S. National Security Council official John Kirby, cited by NBC News.

Sources suggest that these troops receive inadequate supplies, including food and water, making their situation even more untenable.

Many speculate that this dire provision underscores the low regard in which Russian and North Korean generals hold these soldiers.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration plans to send more military aid to Ukraine, perhaps further complicating the situation for these beleaguered troops.

It’s clear these troops find themselves in an appalling situation with little hope in sight.

Their supposed military backing appears negligently insufficient, shadowed by the strategic maneuvers of world powers who treat human lives as mere pawns in a ruthless geopolitical game.

Meanwhile, countries like Slovakia express openness to hosting peace talks—though any meaningful resolution still seems distant.

This situation remains a tragic modern example of how oppressive regimes like Russia and North Korea sacrifice human lives for territorial ambitions.
