(DCWatchdog.com) – Revelations about Joe Biden and his family’s scandalous foreign business dealings are getting more shocking by the day as a GOP US senator just disclosed that over 40 confidential sources have supplied the FBI with “criminal information” on the Bidens.
An investigation by House Republicans has already revealed that Biden family members, including First Son Hunter and the president’s brother James, have snapped up tens of millions of dollars from foreign business partners tied to the regimes of America’s top enemies – Communist China and Putin’s Russia.
However, a new disclosure by US Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) shows the FBI operated more than 40 confidential human sources involving criminal matters connected to the Biden family, including Joe Biden, going back to his vice-presidential tenure from 2009-2017.
These sources offered criminal information regarding Joe Biden, James Biden, and Hunter Biden.
Grassley outlined his new revelations in a letter to US Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray sent late Tuesday night, which was obtained by Fox News.
According to the Iowa Republican, the informants with criminal information on the Bidens were managed by various FBI field offices across the United States, notably including the FBI’s Seattle Field Office, FBI Baltimore Field Office, and FBI HQ holdings.
“Based on the information provided to my office over a period of years by multiple credible whistleblowers, there appears to be an effort within the Justice Department and FBI to shut down investigative activity relating to the Biden family,” the GOP senator wrote.
“Such decisions point to significant political bias infecting the decision-making of not only the Attorney General and FBI Director but also line agents and prosecutors,” he added.
In July, Grassley and the House GOP leadership released an FBI informant FD-1023 file that alleged Hunter and Joe Biden were each bribed $5 million by Mykola Zlochevsky, a now-wanted pro-Russian Ukrainian oligarch.
Grassley’s letter to Garland and Wray reveals he discovered that an FBI task force in the Washington Field Office tried to, and sometimes succeeded in, dismissing reports and information from the sources on the Bidens by wrongly discrediting them as foreign disinformation, leading to a halt in investigative activities.
Nonetheless, the Republican senator noted that, despite these interferences, in at least one case, a confidential source and their information were vetted by several US attorneys’ offices and found to be unconnected to any known sources of Russian disinformation.
“An essential question that must be answered is this: did the FBI investigate the information or shut it down?” Grassley asked, demanding that the DOJ and the FBI give him answers by November 17.
