(DCWatchdog.com) – Democrat presidential nomination challenger Robert F. Kennedy Jr. slammed President Joe Biden for Biden’s illegal immigration “crisis” and open borders policy.
RFK Jr. spoke about his stance on America’s current illegal immigrant invasion with host John Catsimatidis on the WABC 7 program The Cats Roundtable.
“We should have closed borders, and we should expand immigration. It’s not racist or insensitive to say that we need to close our borders and have an orderly immigration policy,” said the nephew of assassinated President John F. Kennedy and son of assassinated US Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy.
“I would expand legal immigration to this country that’s orderly, that makes sense for our country, but also that our borders are impervious,” he added.
RFK, a known anti-vaccine activist and environmental lawyer, blasted “these open-door policies” for hurting children and causing a “humanitarian crisis” at the Southern Border.
“We have a crisis, and we need to close our border,” Kennedy said.
The Democrat challenging Biden for the 2024 presidential nomination of their party stated further that the border situation had been worsened by the US government’s policies toward the countries in Central and South America.
“[RFK Jr.] said the US has been involved in wars in virtually every country in Central America with the exception of Costa Rica, a relatively stable nation compared with its neighbors,” noted The New York Post in a report.
Kennedy further slammed Biden over the latter’s censorship of free speech, especially on social media platforms.
“Mr. Biden is for censorship. I’m against it,” he declared.
“The White House, we now know from the Twitter files, has been trying to censor me, ordering, and pressuring the social media platforms to censor me and many, many other people. Anybody who dissents from some of [Biden’s] policies … That is something that is wholly antithetical to the Democratic Party,” RFK Jr. elaborated.
The Democrat nomination hopeful also spoke against Biden’s pro-illegal immigration policies last week while commenting on the mass murder in which illegal immigrant Francisco Oropeza Perez-Torres killed five family members in a neighboring house in Cleveland, Texas.
“Francisco Oropeza Perez-Torres has been arrested for the murder of 5 people including a 9-year-old boy,” Kennedy wrote.
“Torres is a Mexican already deported 4 times. It is not anti-immigrant bigotry to demand an immigration system that keeps out criminals. In fact, letting them in stokes bigotry,” RFK Jr. argued.
He insisted that Americans could be simultaneously “pro-immigration and pro-closing the border.”
More than 6 million illegal immigrants have invaded the United States on Joe Biden’s watch, including some 2 million gotaways.
As Title 42, the Trump-era public health expulsion policy is set to expire on May 11, there are expectations that even more migrants would flock to the US-Mexican border.
