(DCWatchdog.com) – In a bombshell announcement bound to heat up the campaign trail, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump hinted that a “special guest” will appear at his rally in Glendale, Arizona, today.
According to his campaign team, Trump plans to discuss his “America First policies” to reduce inflation, enhance border security and improve city safety.
There is widespread speculation that Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is also scheduled to speak in Glendale today, will be the guest.
Several media outlets have reported swirling rumors that Kennedy might soon exit the presidential race and support Trump.
“I will not confirm or deny that,” Kennedy responded when asked about these speculations. “We are not talking about any of that.”
Kennedy has openly criticized the Democrat Party for its handling of the nomination process, particularly how Joe Biden was sidelined.
“I think it was a coronation, it’s not democracy. Nobody voted. Who chose Kamala? It wasn’t voters,” he remarked.
“She went in four weeks from being the worst liability for the Democratic Party to the second coming of Christ without giving one interview, without showing up for a debate, without a single policy that anyone thinks isn’t ridiculous. It’s not democracy,” Kennedy pointed out.
Trump recently praised Kennedy, attempting to attract an independent candidate who has long been associated with the Democrat Party.
Trump reflected on how Democrats have dealt with Kennedy, saying they “treated him very badly.”
“What they did to him was what they did to Biden. They really were harsh and threw him out. … They made it impossible for him to compete in primaries because he was doing so well,” Trump explained.
He also mentioned he “would be honored to have RFK’s endorsement” and praised Kennedy’s intentions, stating that his heart was “in the right place.”
