(DCWatchdog.com) – Happening Now: Just moments ago, Joe Biden’s presidential administration ordered that the federal transportation mask mandate be maintained in full force despite nearly all states (blue and red) dropping mask mandates.
According to the New York Post:
“The Biden administration Thursday extended the federal public transportation mask mandate for another 30 days, despite COVID-19 cases plummeting around the country and states lifting similar restrictions.
“In a statement, the Transportation Security Administration said the mandate was being extended until April 18 at the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The extension was first reported by CNN and means Americans will still have to wear face coverings while on board planes, trains, and buses, as well as inside public transportation facilities like airports.” [emphasis added]
Numerous state and federal officials are concerned that the public will react negatively to this latest extension of the federal mask mandate just as students and parents prepare for spring break trips.
