(DCWatchdog.com) – Even celebrities are in danger in Joe Biden’s America as the NFL warned its players about a highly developed “transnational crime ring” targeting their homes.
This alarming development follows burglaries at the homes of Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
The FBI believes these break-ins are part of a larger scheme led by South American criminals, raising concerns about the safety and security of the nation’s beloved athletes.
NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero reported, “The NFL has warned its players to take precautions against a ‘transnational crime ring’ that is suspected of orchestrating a number of break-ins of athletes’ homes including Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.”
This international threat to sports icons has renewed calls for stronger border security and law enforcement efforts to protect American citizens from foreign criminal elements.
The crime ring’s operation method is alarmingly well-developed. It exploits public records to locate athletes’ homes, carries out extensive surveillance and strikes when players are away for games.
These criminals are not average burglars; they are part of a well-organized international operation that poses a significant threat to safety.
The FBI has briefed the NFL and other sports leagues about the burglary groups’ tactics.
These criminals sometimes disguise themselves as delivery personnel or joggers to avoid drawing suspicion.
The NFL’s response to this threat has been to advise players to avoid displaying expensive items on social media, install advanced security systems and use motion-sensing lights.
Mahomes expressed, “Obviously, it’s frustrating, disappointing. I can’t get into too many of the details because the investigation is still ongoing, but, obviously, it’s something that you don’t want to happen to really anybody, but obviously yourself.”
