(DCWatchdog.com) – Recently removed from Fox News, Tucker Carlson is said to be preparing for a battle against the network as he tries to terminate his contract before its January 2025 end date.
Carlson has been sharing with friends that he wants to leave “quiet and clean,” but Axios reports he’s about to switch tactics and intensify his fight with the network. A person identified as a “close Carlson friend” told Axios, “We’re going from peacetime to Defcon 1. His team is preparing for war. He wants his freedom.”
Insiders close to Carlson indicate that he is now willing to disclose sensitive information about the network. Carlson has allegedly stated that he knows “where a lot of bodies are buried and is ready to start drawing a map.”
Carlson’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, has said, “The idea that anyone is going to silence Tucker and prevent him from speaking to his audience is beyond preposterous.”
When contacted by Mediaite, Fox News referred to their April 24 statement, which expressed, “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”
Although Carlson’s next move is unclear, he has reportedly spoken with Elon Musk about potentially working together in some capacity. However, they did not discuss any specific details.
After hosting the cable news network’s highest-rated show for years, Carlson’s exit from Fox News was announced in April. He has been a controversial figure, receiving widespread criticism for many of his comments and viewpoints.
