
(DCWatchdog.com) – HAPPENING NOW: There has been a horrific tragedy at the campground next to a popular Washington music festival. Early reports indicate that at least two people have been slain and three wounded when a gunman opened fire in a seemingly random fashion on the crowd.

“Two people were killed and three others were injured Saturday evening in a campground outside of the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington State, and Grant County deputies say they have a suspect in custody.
“The shooting was reported just before 8:30 p.m. in the campground of the amphitheater, which is hosting the Beyond Wonderland electronic dance music festival this weekend.
“The sheriff’s office initially said five people were wounded in the shooting. They later confirmed that two people had died from their injuries. Three others were wounded – which they say included the shooter.” [emphasis added]
Additionally, “A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said the suspect was ‘randomly shooting into the crowd’ before being taken into custody.”
