Liberal Mayor Accused!

( – Legal and political troubles are piling up for NYC’s Democrat Mayor, Eric Adams, after he has been slapped with a civil lawsuit alleging sexual assault and discrimination, which he allegedly committed back in 1993.

The lawsuit against Adams comes just as his election campaign is under a federal investigation for accepting illegal donations from the country of Turkey, while the mayor has been at odds with the Biden administration over the influx of illegal immigrants in his city.

Adams has been implicated in a civil lawsuit, according to documents submitted to the Supreme Court of the State of New York.

The plaintiff, a woman named Lorna Beach Mathura, who allegedly worked alongside Adams as a city employee three decades ago, is accusing him of severe charges, including assault, battery, and gender-based employment discrimination.

Additionally, the lawsuit alleges retaliation and the fostering of a hostile work environment. The specific claims were not detailed in the filing, NBC New York reports.

The electronically filed notice, which is pending processing by the clerk, demands a minimum of $5 million, alongside attorney’s fees and interest, to be determined in a jury trial.

The suit cites violations of various legal statutes, including the New York State Human Rights Law, the New York City Human Rights Law, and the Victims of Gender Motivated Violence Protection Act.

“As you know, I’ve been in public life for almost 40 years. People know my character and I could just emphatically state this never took place. And it’s just not who I am. I would never do anything to harm someone,” Adams told reporters.

“Mom always used to tell me there are seasons when a lot seem to be going on and at that moment, you have to let go and let God have something to do with it. I don’t recall meeting the person and I’m going to remain steadfast in running the city,” the mayor added.

Multiple lawsuits have been filed under the name Lorna Beach Mathura.

These include an unsuccessful 2014 lawsuit against American Airlines and a case against Miami Dade County where the plaintiff claimed to have been “abused by a 6-year-old kindergarten student.”

A book available on Amazon, authored by Lorna Beach Mathura, offers legal advice for representing oneself in court, drawing on “many years spent fighting for myself and others in various courts.”

“Never give up. You just may win,” advises the book.
