(DCWatchdog.com) – Kellyanne Conway, the longtime Republican pollster who rose through the ranks to become Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign manager and White House counselor, said yesterday on The View that Trump believes he has “unfinished business” from his term as president and that she believes Trump will run again in 2024.
“I think that he would like to run in 2024 because he thinks there’s unfinished business,” Conway told the audience and hosts of ABC-TV’s The View when asked if Trump will seek the White House again after losing to Joe Biden in 2020.
Appearing on the show to promote a book she just published, Conway also said of Trump, “He sees that Biden is not doing a great job.”
Asked if she would like to manage Trump’s campaign if he does decide to run again for the GOP Presidential Nomination in 2024, Conway — who resigned from her White House job in 2020 shortly before the end of Trump’s term — was noncommittal. Conway’s family life has been in turmoil for years, and she expressed her desire to “be the best and highest use for my family.”
As for Trump himself, he has hinted at running again on many occasions, including when he said during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in February, “We’re going to kick the Biden crime family out of the White House in 2024.”
