(DCWatchdog.com) – Having compared the diversity of the “Latinx” community to “breakfast tacos in San Antonio,” First Lady Jill Biden got slammed in a statement from the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

In response to the statement by Biden, the National Association of Hispanic Journalists put out the following statement on Twitter:
“NAHJ encourages @FLOTUS & her communications team to take time to better understand the complexities of our people & communities. We are not tacos. Our heritage as Latinos is shaped by various diasporas, cultures & food traditions. Do not reduce us to stereotypes.”
