Hillary Demands THIS?! (Video)

(DCWatchdog.com) – In a new obnoxious public demand by Hillary Clinton, the Democrat heavyweight has declared she wants more national regulations over social media content, fearing unregulated platforms could mean losing control.

Hillary Clinton voiced her concerns about the state of social media during an interview on CNN’s “Smerconish.”

She argued for stricter content moderation across platforms like Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and TikTok.

“We can look at the state of California, the state of New York, I think some other states have also taken action,” Clinton noted, cited by Fox News, acknowledging state-level efforts.

Clinton believes the federal government should step in, explaining that individual state actions aren’t enough. She strongly criticized Congress for being ineffective in protecting children from harmful online content.

Clinton said, “We need national action and sadly, our Congress has been dysfunctional when it comes to addressing these threats to our children.”

Clinton is also calling for the repeal of Section 230 of the Communications Act, which currently provides immunity to social media platforms for third-party content.

“We should be, in my view, repealing something called Section 230, which gave, you know, platforms on the internet immunity because they were thought to be just pass-throughs, that they shouldn’t be judged for the content that is posted,” Clinton stated.

Former Democrat US Rep. Tulsi Gabbard criticized Clinton’s stance, accusing her of trying to oppose free speech and aiming for “total control.”

Clinton praises efforts in states like California and New York but emphasizes the need for federal action and continues her broader push to combat misinformation online.

Clinton’s remarks have sparked debate as they touch on the fundamentals of free speech.

Her new book, “Something Lost and Something Gained,” dives into the negative impacts of social media, especially on children’s mental health.

This raises questions about the balance between free speech and protection from harm—questions that resonate deeply with those valuing constitutional freedoms, reports point out.
