(DCWatchdog.com) – Twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has “taken a stand” in the conflict between Florida’s GOP Governor Ron DeSantis and leftist entertainment corporation Walt Disney Co.
As DeSantis continued his crackdown on Disney over its attempts to dictate state policies and subvert legislation, Hillary Clinton declared her entire family was on the side of the leftist company.
Her “trolling” of DeSantis saw her post on Twitter an old photo showing her, former President Bill Clinton, and their daughter Chelsea with Donald Duck, wearing Donald Duck hats, The New York Post reported.
“As Republicans declare war on Disney, I know whose side I’m on,” Hillary Clinton wrote.

According to the NYP, the photo is probably from 1984, which marked the 50th birthday of Donald Duck.
At the time, Bill Clinton was running for reelection as Arkansas governor, while Chelsea, born in 1980, was 3 or 4 years old.
Hillary Clinton’s “trolling” comes after DeSantis announced a third draft law to crack down on Disney’s political influence after the company tried to subvert his newly-appointed board to manage the Disney World special district.
Before their ousting, the previous board members, appointed by the company, adopted a 10-year development plan for the district serving the company’s agenda and transferred much of the body’s powers to it.
The conflict between Disney and the DeSantis administration started last spring when the company attacked the governor’s bill for banning sexuality and gender talk in K3 education – the Parental Rights in Education Act, which has been dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by the leftist mainstream media.
Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump has criticized DeSantis, his potentially main rival in the 2024 GOP presidential nomination race, by arguing that the latter is losing his battle with Disney.
“DeSanctus is being absolutely destroyed by Disney. His original P.R. plan fizzled, so now he’s going back with a new one in order to save face,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Tuesday.
“Disney’s next move will be the announcement that no more money will be invested in Florida because of the governor. In fact, they could even announce a slow withdrawal or sale of certain properties, or the whole thing. Watch! That would be a killer. In the meantime, this is all so unnecessary, a political stunt! Ron should work on the squatter mess!” Trump elaborated.
Another high-profile Republican, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who is mulling his own presidential candidacy, also slammed DeSantis over the conflict with Disney.
Christie, who was part of the Trump administration and the 2020 Trump campaign but is now at odds with the former president, accused DeSantis of acting like a liberal.
“Where are we headed here now, that if you express disagreement in this country, the government is allowed to punish you? To me, that’s what I always thought liberals did,” the former N.J. governor said, as cited by The Hill.
“And now all of a sudden, here we are participating in this with a Republican governor,” Christie added.
