Why hasn’t President Joe Biden held a formal White House press conference in more than two months?

Why does he have nothing on his schedule today?

Is he ill? Is he not mentally fit enough to stand before the White House press corp and answer questions for an hour or more like his presidential predecessors did regularly?

Is his White House staff, including White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, shielding him from extended questioning because they believe he is not up to the task?

Today, as you’ll see in the video below, Psaki was asked why Biden has nothing on his public schedule today, after just returning from an extended Christmas and New Year break at his beach house in Delaware.

Her response? He never gets “any free time or any time to think.”

So, evidently, today is either a “free time” day or a “thinking day.” Here’s the video of Psaki defending Biden being invisible today.
