(DCWatchdog.com) – A scandalous new revelation by a whistleblower has just exposed what many Republicans had feared and believed – namely, that leftist network ABC News deliberately manipulated the September 10 presidential debate in favor of Kamala Harris and to the detriment of Donald Trump.
Previous allegations that the ABC News presidential debate was influenced to hurt the GOP candidate and boost the Democrat were amplified following the Sunday release of a detailed sworn statement by a network whistleblower.
The affidavit, sworn under penalty of perjury and released by @DocNetyoutube, claims ABC collaborated with the Harris campaign to provide her with sample questions, WND reports.
It also assures that Trump would be fact-checked during the debate, whereas Harris would not, along with favorable visual treatments for Harris’s on-screen appearance.
This document, dated Sept. 9—the day before the debate and partially redacted to protect the whistleblower’s identity—comes from a Manhattan, New York, resident who has served at ABC News for over a decade in “various technical and administrative positions.”
“For the record, I do not endorse Donald Trump in his capacity as candidate for the president of the United States,” states the whistleblower.
“The intent of this affidavit is to address concerns about perceived biases within news reporting within my employer’s debate that will be hosted on September 10, 2024,” the unidentified source adds.
According to the ABC employee, Harris was granted special treatment including, but not limited to, the use of a podium smaller than Trump’s, and assurances about split-screen views designed to favorably impact her appearance relative to Trump.
The sworn statement elaborates: “It was agree that Donald Trump would be subjected to fact-checking during the debate, while Kamala Harris would not comparable scrutiny. This was widely known throughout the company that Donald Trump would be fact-checked. In fact, various people were assigned to fact check observations it was perceived candidate Trump would make during the debate.”
“In fact, [the] Harris campaign required assurances that Donald Trump would be fact checked. This was done via multiple communications with the Harris campaign whereas the Trump campaign was not included in the negotiations. To my understanding, any rules negotiations and conversations pertaining to the debate should have had both the Trump and Harris campaign involved, the Harris campaign had numerous more calls regarding the debate rules without the Trump campaign aware or on the call,” the whistleblower informs.
The document also reveals: “The Harris campaign was provided with sample questions that, while not the exact questions, covered similar topics that would appear during the debate.”
“Furthermore, the Harris campaign imposed serious restrictions on the scope of questioning, including:
- No questions regarding the perceived health of President Joe Biden.
- No inquires regarding her tenure as attorney general in San Francisco.
- No questions concerning her brother-in-law, Tony West, who faces allegations of embezzling billions of dollars in taxpayer funds and who may be involved in her administration if elected,” the whistleblower says.
The conclusion of the sworn statement notes that copies were sent via regular mail and FedEx to the whistleblower’s home address, along with a certified letter to U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson dated Sept. 9, 2024, “to establish a record that the correspondence was sent before the debate commenced.”
