(DCWatchdog.com) – Lamestream media CNN’s reputation is under fire as a U.S. Navy veteran accused the network of defamation and misinformation in a lawsuit that exposes alleged deceit at the highest levels.

See the tweet below.

U.S. Navy Veteran Zachary Young, accused of profiteering from Afghanistan’s chaos, now finds himself at the center of a high-stakes legal battle exposing CNN’s questionable reporting practices and financial transparency.

As the liberal media giant scrambles to defend itself, shocking revelations emerge about its attempts to mislead the court and manipulate public opinion.

Young’s lawsuit, set for trial on January 6, 2025, in Bay County, Florida, accused CNN of defaming his company, Nemex Enterprises Inc., by falsely implying it illegally profited from helping people flee Afghanistan in 2021.

The case has already yielded significant victories for Young, with judges finding evidence of “actual malice” and “outrageous conduct” by CNN, warranting a full trial.

CNN now stands accused of deliberately misleading the court about its net worth. A Florida judge ordered the network to provide financial documents crucial for determining potential punitive damages.

Yet, CNN allegedly failed to produce these documents, claiming its finances are consolidated with Warner Bros. Discovery.

This apparent stonewalling has raised eyebrows and fueled speculation about what CNN might be hiding.

Young’s legal team is now seeking to use Warner Bros. Discovery’s financial statements to accurately assess potential punitive damages, a move that could expose CNN to significant financial liability.

The court’s findings have been damning for CNN. Judge William Henry denied the network’s motion for summary judgment, allowing Young to seek punitive damages.

In a scathing rebuke, Judge Henry stated that “the record evidence could support a conclusion that Defendant aired and posted the Pieces knowing the gist was false or with reckless disregard as to whether the gist was false or not.”

Further undermining CNN’s credibility, internal communications reportedly expressed concerns about the accuracy and completeness of the story before it aired.

Despite these red flags, CNN proceeded with the broadcast, seemingly prioritizing sensationalism over journalistic integrity.

In a desperate attempt to salvage its reputation, CNN issued an on-air apology, admitting that the term “black market” was used in error.

However, the judge noted that this apology was not linked to the online content, raising questions about the sincerity of CNN’s remorse and its commitment to correcting the record.

As this case unfolds, it serves as a stark reminder of the liberal media’s willingness to sacrifice truth and journalistic ethics in pursuit of a narrative.

Young’s fight against CNN not only seeks justice for himself but also exposes the rot within mainstream media institutions that prioritize sensationalism over facts, potentially at the expense of those who have served the country.
