(DCWatchdog.com) – BREAKING NOW: According to several sources, a top FBI agent who had some level of supervision over the investigation of Hunter Biden and Hunter Biden’s laptop is out at the FBI.
Reports indicate the agent was forced to resign his position.
The Washington Times is currently framing what took place in “Top agent exits FBI amid charge of political bias undermining Hunter Biden probe: Sources“:
“A senior FBI official in the bureau’s Washington field office has abruptly resigned after coming under congressional scrutiny for suspected political bias in handling the investigation of Hunter Biden’s computer laptop.
“The Washington Times learned that Timothy Thibault, an assistant special agent in charge, was forced to leave his post, according to two former FBI officials familiar with the situation.
“Mr. Thibault was seen exiting the bureau’s elevator on Friday, escorted by two or three ‘headquarters-looking types,’ according to eyewitness accounts provided to one of the former officials.” [emphasis added]

“Republican lawmakers have been scrutinizing Mr. Thibault for making anti-Trump statements in social media posts in 2020. At the time, he was helping lead the FBI’s probe of Hunter Biden, whose father, President Biden, was running for the White House.” [emphasis added]
