(DCWatchdog.com) – JUST REVEALED: One of the most conservative members of the United States Supreme Court, Justice Clarence Thomas, has been hospitalized with an infection of an undisclosed nature.
The 73-year-old Thomas was taken to the hospital on Friday, but the Court did not disclose his hospitalization until a short time ago.
As the Washington Times notes:
“The 73-year-old was admitted to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., with flu-like symptoms and is being treated with antibiotics after being diagnosed with an infection, according to a statement by the High Court.
“‘His symptoms are abating, he is resting comfortably, and he expects to be released from the hospital in a day or two,’ the statement read.
Thomas has been a member of the Court since 1991 and is a favorite of Republicans as he is a reliable conservative vote.
