(DCWatchdog.com) – BREAKING NOW: Just moments ago, news broke that billionaire Paul Pelosi, the husband of United States House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a California Democrat, has been arrested.
According to the TMZ, Pelosi was charged with driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher.
Pelosi was booked into jail at 4:13 a.m.
Both charges are misdemeanors under California law.
Pelosi was stopped and arrested in Napa County, California, shortly before midnight on Saturday night.
Paul Pelosi is 82 years old.
TMZ further reports that there’s “[n]o word on whether the Speaker herself was with Paul during this bust — as you know, she’s often in D.C. for her job … but since it’s Memorial Day weekend, she could’ve possibly been back home with her family for a bit — but it seems unlikely. At the moment, it appears she’s in Rhode Island for a commencement speech to graduates there.”
