(DCWatchdog.com) – BREAKING NOW: Coming less than twenty-four hours after the FBI raided his home and office at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, former President Donald Trump has just been informed that the DC Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that the United States House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee can have access to Trump’s tax returns.
According to CNN’s reporting about the decision:
“A federal appeals court on Tuesday signed off on a House Ways and Means Committee request to obtain former President Donald Trump’s tax returns from the Internal Revenue Service.
“The ruling from the DC Circuit Court of Appeals is a blow to Trump, who has argued for years in court against releasing his tax returns to any investigators. A trial-level judge he appointed while president previously rejected his arguments in the case.”

According to the court, “The Chairman’s [chairman of the committee] request in this case passes muster under all suggested variations of the separation of powers analysis.”
Still, Trump can appeal the decision to the United States Supreme Court — something he is almost sure to do as quickly as possible.
