(DCWatchdog.com) – BREAKING NOW: Air travelers looking forward to not having to wear a mask starting next Monday have received bad news from the administration of President Joe Biden.
The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has extended the federal travel mask mandate for another 15 days.
How another 15 days will make any real difference in the spread of COVID-19 is unclear.
The airlines have been all but united against the continuing requirement to wear masks while on commercial airlines.
As Fox News reports:
“The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will extend its travel mask mandate for 15 more days despite protests from airlines.
“President Biden’s administration had previously extended the federal mask mandate to April 18 in early March. Airline CEOS united in calling on Biden to end the mandate on March 24, but to no avail…
“The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has decided to extend the security directive and emergency amendment for 15 days, through May 3, 2022.”
