According to the Daily Caller:
“Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis was in a car accident Tuesday morning.
“The car accident occurred while DeSantis was en route to an event in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was uninjured, campaign Press Secretary Bryan Griffin said. DeSantis was also scheduled to appear at a fundraiser in Knoxville on Tuesday, according to Knoxville News.
“‘This morning, the governor was in a car accident while traveling to an event in Chattanooga, Tennessee,’ Griffin said in a statement. ‘He and his team are uninjured.’
“‘We appreciate the prayers and well wishes of the nation for his continued protection while on the campaign trail,’ he added.”
