As detailed in a TMZ documentary, doctors linked to Matthew Perry’s addiction, which ultimately led to his death, were named as part of a complex underground system that allegedly thrives in Hollywood.
Osbourne and “Jackass” star Brandon Novak are among the celebrities who spoke with TMZ about how easily famous people can obtain drugs through illegal sources.
In the documentary, Kelly Osbourne claims that certain doctors willingly provide prescriptions to addicts, driven by selfish motives.
According to a clip shared by TMZ, she said these doctors are eager to cozy up to celebrities, knowing they can profit off them while exploiting their vulnerabilities.
Brandon Novak shared his own experience with the outlet, revealing how easy it was for him to get drugs illegally.
He also confessed to exchanging swag for drugs in doctors’ offices with little effort.

He alleged that a group of licensed doctors consistently crosses ethical boundaries, focusing on their own wealth and fame rather than their patients’ well-being.
Furthermore, TMZ reported that the documentary claims to uncover a network of enablers and rehab centers that exploit stars instead of helping them through their addiction struggles.
The documentary “TMZ Investigates Matthew Perry and the Secret Celebrity Drug Ring ” will air on Fox on September 16 at 9 p.m. ET and Hulu the next day.
