(DCWatchdog.com) – A former top-ranking Pentagon official disclosed that UFOs had been found and that striking revelations about the “alien” spacecraft would be revealed before Congress in a hearing this week.
“I’ve been told that we have recovered technology that did not originate on this Earth, by officials in the Department of Defense and by former intelligence officials,” Christopher Mellon, a former deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence, told NewsNation.
His comments came ahead of Wednesday’s hearing of the House Oversight Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs.
It will feature whistleblower David Grusch, an Air Force vet and the national reconnaissance officer representative for the Pentagon’s Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) Task Force.
Mellon said Grusch would make “explosive” revelations before Congress on the Pentagon’s program for retrieving abandoned or crashed extraterrestrial spacecraft.
“The objective here, I think, and the opportunity, is for the American people to come to better understand why it is that so many in Congress actually take seriously the idea that there are UFOs, UAP that are violating US airspace and the associated rumor, allegation, that we may have in our possession off-world technology recovered from someone else’s space program,” the former Pentagon official elaborated.
Mellon made headlines in 2017 when he gave The New York Times footage of three UFOs.
In his NewsNation interview, he said he believed Grusch’s allegations that the US military had retrieved spacecraft from around the planet using help from foreign leaders.
Last month, 36-year-old Grusch alleged that one of the spacecraft captured by American officials came after Pope Pius XII informed the US government that Italy’s World War II-era dictator Benito Mussolini had received one.
“1933 was the first recovery in Europe, in Magenta, Italy. They recovered a partially intact vehicle, and the Italian government moved it to a secure airbase in Italy until around 1944/1945. The pope back-channeled that and told the Americans what the Italians had, and we ended up scooping it,” Grusch told NewsNation last week.
Besides him, Wednesday’s House hearing will also feature testimonies by Ryan Graves, an ex-Navy pilot and head of Americans for Safe Aerospace, and David Fravor, a former commander of the Black Aces Squadron with the US Navy.
