(DCWatchdog.com) – Tragedy struck as beloved actress Dalyce Curry, known for her roles in “The Blues Brothers” and “The Ten Commandments,” died in the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

Curry, a fixture of Old Black Hollywood in the 1950s, died in her Altadena home as raging wildfires consumed the area.

Her great-granddaughter, Dalyce Kelley, confirmed the tragic news via Facebook, sharing disturbing footage of the destruction, including Curry’s burned Cadillac and decimated home.

“About an hour ago the coroner confirmed her remains were found at the property,” Dalyce’s great-granddaughter said.

The loss of this Hollywood icon comes amid what officials are calling the most destructive firestorm in Los Angeles’ history.

At least 24 people have died, 16 are missing, and a staggering 150,000 have been forced to evacuate.

The scale of devastation is unprecedented, with thousands of structures affected and 70,000 customers left without power.

While leftist politicians like Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) are quick to blame climate change, they conveniently ignore the role of poor forest management and their own failed policies in exacerbating these disasters.

Newsom’s administration has consistently prioritized environmental regulations over practical fire prevention measures, leaving communities like Curry’s vulnerable to these deadly infernos.

Adding insult to injury, two individuals have been arrested for arson in connection with fires in the county.

This raises serious questions about the effectiveness of law enforcement and the need for harsher penalties for those who endanger lives and property through such reckless acts.

Moreover, the National Weather Service has warned of “particularly dangerous” conditions due to strong wind gusts, which will further complicate firefighting efforts.

Yet, instead of focusing on practical solutions like improved early warning systems and evacuation procedures, liberal politicians continue to push their climate change agenda while innocent lives are lost.

“One thing I won’t give in to is delay. Delay is denial for people. Lives, traditions, places, torn apart, torn asunder. Families, schools, community centres,” Governor Newsom claimed.

Newsom’s empty rhetoric about avoiding delays rings hollow when his administration has consistently failed to implement effective fire prevention strategies.

The governor’s focus on expediting rebuilding efforts is a band-aid solution that does nothing to address the root causes of these increasingly deadly wildfires.

This ongoing tragedy, marked by Dalyce Curry’s untimely death, calls for earnest reflections on how best to protect communities from future wildfire disasters.

For now, Curry’s legacy, defined by her contributions to Hollywood’s Golden Era, will continue to endure in film history and the hearts of those she touched.
