Biden Wants Harriet Tubman on $20 Bill

The Biden administration is looking at ways to speed up the process of putting Harriet Tubman’s image on the $20 bill after the effort stalled under the Trump administration,” according to The Hill.

“‘The Treasury Department is taking steps to resume efforts to put Harriett Tubman on the front of the $20 notes,’ White House press secretary Jen Psaki said during a briefing with reporters.

“‘It’s important that our notes, our money … reflect the history and diversity of our country, and Harriet Tubman’s image gracing the new $20 note would certainly reflect that,’ she added. ‘So we’re exploring ways to speed up that effort.’…

Former President Trump himself had expressed opposition to putting Tubman on the $20 bill at the time it was first announced, calling it “pure political correctness” during the 2016 campaign.” [emphasis added]

This will be the beginning of a flood to redo all the currency and many other items. Elimination of all White males is the goal. Pelosi has already done this in the halls of Congress. Apparently all states have a display for their own state there and Pelosi won’t allow anything in the displays that is not a minority or female theme.

  2. John says:

If Tubman makes it on the $20 it won’t make a difference. Biden will be going to the digital currency and the paper money will be more, that way he will be able to steal your money with the push of a button. Welcome to socialism.

  3. Donald Del Savio says:

No dont change the $20. Something this important should be voted on by Americans not just done by politicians in power at the time

  4. ANTHONY Franklin BAREFORD says:

If you really want to do something to help black people, then why don’t you do something that actually helps them …. Changing the face on the currency will only cost the taxpayers ( of all races ) . This is a waste of taxpayer money, and again, does nothing to help black people …. It may seem to those who want to do this, that this will be perceived by blacks as some powerful, symbolic statement, but those who want to do this don’t give them enough credit to see it for what it really is, and sadly, in the end, they’ll be right where they are right now with the only thing to show for it is a meaningless picture on a twenty dollar bill that is worth less than it was before because it took taxpayer dollars to make it happen …

  5. PJ says:

Leave our current currency alone! It should and always has been former Presidents and that is the way it should stay.

    • DeeJay says:

I agree, focus on helping your American Citizens instead of stuff that isn’t going to help them at ALL!*If'[349jsdf;[4!

  6. Norma Lee Miller says:

Why should she be on a bill? Who is this woman? Why change something that has been the same for years? ONLY PAST PRESIDENTS should appear on our paper money.

  7. Paul Subbie says:

Only Presidents are to be on denominational Bills. Gunman is NOT a former President.

  8. Have no idea who she was and what she did that was so great for America. But since she is history we must erase any evidence that she existed at all, it is call cancel couture! After all what is good for one race is good for another one! Leave the photo place blank, nobody looks at it anyway!

    • Joan Squitieri says:

I think it’s pure insanity gone amok, to contemplate removing the picture of a former President of the U.S. from the twenty dollar bill & replace it with someone that the majority of American citizens never heard of. Common sense has been replaced in this Country by the counter culture of idiocy. This is supposedly the wealthiest Country in the world yet we have more nitwits walking the streets than we have those who are educated. A sad affair t0 say the least.

  9. Sure am glad she’s black, we certainly don’t get to see enough of them in TV ads.

  10. B Foster Scott says:

Andrew Jackson should never have been on a bill or honored in any way. Harriet Tubman is a hero and deserves this honor.
Now if we can get the disgraced former “president” (in name only) to pay for all the wrongs he wrought, the world will be a much be6er place.

    • Bearpaw says:

Why should this person be on any currency at all? If she is someone ‘historic’ then she should be erased just like the others that you libtards are trying to pretend that they never existed. Sensible people learn by history, they don’t erase it!

Statues to Confederate soldiers who were committing Treason by violently rebelling against US government is a poor way to remember history. Statues are a bad way to remember history. Museums and books are better. Non-southerners and non-racists arte not your enemy. Racim is insane. We hate what we fear.

        • Tim says:

Most Civil War Monuments are dedicated to individuals or local county units. Every county courthouse in the south has a monument to the local men/unit of the county. Most of these came from donations by the veterans or sponsored by United Daughters of the Confederacy in the south. The north also did similar tributes.
As far as books on the history of the war. Sad to say, you will find quite a bit of propaganda in many books, especially the winning side, as “the victors” write the history. When I went to school we were taught that Lincoln freed the slaves, which wasn’t true. But our government came from the winning side. Read the Emancipation Proclaimation, and dissect it. This piece of paper did as it was intended. It got England and France to stop supporting the south. But it didn’t free a single slave!

        • Randall says:

All the statues should remain,we should get rid of all the black statues. This country was founded by white men

    • Barbara G Louise says:

Putting Harriet Tubman on US money was already discussed greatly and voted-on by many many people. Andrew Jackson was a huge racist. So replacing him with a Black woman is great! Perhaps it will help to edu- cate who Tubman was and why she is one of the greatest Americans who ever lived, and the most courageous human being I know of. A movie called “Harriet” was made in 2019, historically correct as far I I know. See that movie and you will learn about Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad.

    • I never heard of her. What did she do she’s not famous ?

    • Tim says:

Evidently you know nothing of Andrew Jackson who took a huge group of ragtag Tennesseans down the Natchez Trace to get to New Orleans as fast as they could in 1814. In New Orleans he was able to get a huge group of pirates commanded by Jean Lafeate to join him. This Army surprised and defeated the enemy at Chalmette. The fortunate thing about this debacle was the war had officially ended prior to this. Neither side got the word. Had the British won, they would have continued to fight the “finished war”. President Jackson should stay on the $20.
Harriet Tubman lived on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She was told nvolved in illegally running the Underground Railroad. At the time, Maryland was a slave state. Lincoln allowed slavery in those states that hadn’t seceded the Union. So this woman was breaking Federal Law. Why are we considering putting a lawbreaker on our currency, replacing a U.S. President?
John Brown also was involved in capturing slaves. He took over the U.S. Arsenal at Harper’s Ferry, Virginia in 1859. He armed local slaves, told them they would fight for their freedom. The first person killed before Brown’s capture was a black man that told Brown he was happy working on the farm and he wasn’t going to fight. John Brwn shot and killed him first! Later Brown was hung after a trial. But now he’s a hero. Perhaps a few years from now those individuals that attacked the U.S. Capitol will also be heroes. I don’t think so, as they were Antifa/BLM with Democratisch-Marxist backing.

  11. Sherman Deardeuff says:

Who is actually doing the president job? Obama Hillary or Pelosi ?
So far it looks like a repeat of Obama including the people he is using as his staff.
I tend to believe it is Obama being the uncover president..

    • Bearpaw says:

Creepy Joe is just a puppet, his handlers are the ones that you mentioned. He is also just a stepping stone for VP Kameltoe the dumocrats real choice for president. I give him 6 months at most til he’s removed.

    • Tim says:

Yes, This is the 3rd term of “The Kenyan”. He’s pulling the strings with a few other handlers trying to collapse this country. It was his idea to put the lawbreaker, “Harriet Tubman” on the $20. Beijing-Joe doesn’t even know what a $20 is at this point. He has so much Chynese Yen overseas and waiting to collapse the U.S. dollar. It won’t effect him or “The Kenyan”. I’m sure they also have many Iranian Dinars ($$$) in the Banc de Tehran.

  12. PATTY says:

THIS IS ANOTHER DISGRACE!!!!!!!!!~. FROM THE FRAUD PARTY????? THE FRAUD PARTY SHOULD GET BUSY DOING GOOD WORK INSTEAD OF TRYING TO RE-WRITE HISTORY???????? IF YOU THING BY JUST CHANGING SOMETHING GOOD TO BAD WILL MAKE THINK AGAIN!!!!!!!!

    • barbara G. Louise says:

Patty, go see the movie “Harriet,” and learn the history Harriet Tubman represents. Remove hate from your heart. It is injuring your soul. We hate what we fear. Racism is fear. Black people don’t want revenge. They want legal equality.

  13. Roy Westberg says:

I dont care if they put homer simpson on the bill as long as its legal tender
