(DCWatchdog.com) – Breaking Now: In what can only be described as an attempt to undo the damage he did in yesterday’s press conference, President Joe Biden (see the video below) just went before television cameras and read from prepared notes to insist that “Russia will pay a heavy price” if President Vladimir Putin sends troops into Ukraine.
At the press conference yesterday, Biden made statements that led world leaders to believe that he would tolerate an incursion into Ukraine by Russia.
Now, just moments ago, Biden stated:
“…a few words about Russia and Ukraine. Now, I’ve been absolutely clear with President Putin. He has no misunderstanding. If any, any assembled Russian units move across the Ukrainian border, that is an invasion. It’ll be met with severe and coordinated economic response that I’ve discussed in detail with our allies as well as laid out very clearly for President Putin. Let there be no doubt at all if Putin makes this choice, Russia will pay a heavy price.”
Biden then went on to address other types of attacks Russia might carry out and how he would respond.
