(DCWatchdog.com) – President Joe Biden invited to the White House three far-left Democrat state lawmakers from Tennessee, two of whom have been expelled after leading a riot at the Capitol in Nashville.
At the end of last week, the “Tennessee Three” – state Reps. Justin Pearson, Justin Jones, and Gloria Johnson – faced expulsion votes.
Pearson and Jones were each expelled by the GOP majority in 69–26 votes, while Johnson survived by a single vote.
The trio was subjected to the punitive measures after, on March 30, they led a pro-transgenderist, anti-gun rally that stormed the Tennessee State Capitol and shouted “No action, no peace” on the state House floor.
The rally demanded anti-gun laws and the repeal of legislation banning medical “transitions” for children. It was organized after, on March 27, a “trans man” named Audrey Hale, 28, committed the Nashville School Massacre at a local Christian school, killing three young kids and three elderly staffers.
The New York Post reported that Biden held a conference with the “Tennessee Three” and invited them to the White House on the same day that his vice president, Kamala Harris visited Nashville to meet them.
The report pointed out that the White House has not mentioned whether Biden has invited the families of the six Nashville school shooting victims to the White House.
It added that “it also does not appear” that Vice President Harris met with any family members of “trans man” Audrey Hale’s victims.
“Earlier today, I spoke to Reps. Jones, Pearson, and Johnson to thank them for their leadership and courage in the face of a blatant disregard of our nation’s democratic values,” Biden declared in an Instagram post last Friday.
The post featured an image from his video call with the far-left Tennessee trio.
“Our country needs to take action on gun violence — and to do that we need more voices like theirs speaking out,” Biden added.
According to a White House pool report, the Tennessee Three thanked the president for his “leadership on gun safety” and denouncing “undemocratic and unprecedented attacks” on them in the Tennessee statehouse.
The same report said their trip to the White House would happen “in the near future.”
Biden’s vice president, Kamala Harris, also condemned the expulsion votes against the three far-left Democrats as “undemocratic and dangerous.”
“Six people, including three children, were killed last week in a school shooting in Nashville. How did Republican lawmakers in Tennessee respond? By expelling their colleagues who stood with Tennesseans and said enough is enough. This is undemocratic and dangerous,” Harris wrote on Twitter.
