(DCWatchdog.com) – Notorious leftist U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is at it again, arguing that Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s attempts to show solidarity with the working class are mere theatrics.
See AOC’s comment in the tweet below!
Ocasio-Cortez condemned Trump for his recent visit to a McDonald’s in Feasterville, Pennsylvania, calling it a “mocking impersonation.”
She stated that Trump’s antics served to trivialize the day-to-day lives of McDonald’s workers.
According to the congresswoman, Trump’s donning of a McDonald’s apron and attempting the drive-thru is insulting rather than relatable.
The visit, held on October 20, 2024, left many lefties questioning Trump’s sincerity in connecting with everyday Americans.
Videos of Trump engaging with customers went viral, which critics suggest was a staged publicity event for campaign promotion.
Meanwhile, McDonald’s highlighted its neutral political stance, distancing itself from the spectacle.
AOC shared her criticisms across social media platforms, receiving widespread engagement.
She likened Trump’s outfit to a Halloween costume, implying he has never experienced a real workday.
“Halloween came early for Donald Trump because we know that man has never worked a day in his life,” she quipped on the campaign trail.
“You’ve got Donald Trump putting on a little McDonald’s costume because he thinks that’s what people do,” AOC wrote, cited by The Hill.
Alongside Trump, Elon Musk came under fire from Ocasio-Cortez for his dubious gambit, which involved offering $1 million daily to people signing a petition supporting the First and Second Amendments.
Musk’s ostentatious proposal was seen as both disingenuous and potentially illegal for soliciting voter interaction under dubious pretenses.
Shawn Fain of the United Auto Workers joined Ocasio-Cortez in criticizing Trump’s actions.
Fain insisted that Trump doesn’t genuinely care for working-class citizens, pointing instead to Vice President Kamala Harris’s sincere background in middle-class struggles as a former McDonald’s employee.
Such genuine experiences seemingly set Harris apart from Trump’s actions.
Fain’s criticisms echoed Ocasio-Cortez’s words.

"Halloween came early for Donald Trump, bc we know that man's never worked a day in his life … He's never struggled to make ends meet. He does not know what it means to check your paycheck every wk & see what you've got left"
