AOC Attacks Israel (video)

US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY)

( – Applying the left’s favorite trick of kicking a person who is down, far-left US Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has carried out a vile attack against Israel just as America’s top Middle Eastern ally got victimized by the horrific aggression of Palestinian Islamist terrorists.

On Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), the leader of the radical-left “Squad” whose members tend to accuse not only Israel but also the US of “terrorism,” posted a video rant on X.

Her comments came six days after, on Saturday, October 7, the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas invaded Southern Israel from the Gaza Strip and began randomly killing and abducting civilians.

At least 14 Americans are among the over 1,300 people killed by the terrorists, while hundreds have been kidnapped and taken to Gaza.

In her statement, AOC insisted that the United States had to foil what she said were Israel’s plans to commit ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip, a tiny enclave of 2.2 million people.

Ocasio-Cortez articulated that it falls under the US remit to ensure stability and security in the Middle East.

“That means being able to support … Israel in its defensive capacities … in that context,” she stated.

AOC argued that Israel might endeavor to ethnically cleanse Palestinians from Gaza without explicitly distinguishing between Hamas terrorists and Palestinian civilians under Hamas governance.

“It also means that the United States has responsibility to ensure accountability to human rights — to prevent the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, and to ensure that horrors do not happen in the names of victims who do not want their tragedy used to justify further violence and injustice,” she argued.

Her accusations against Israel came against the backdrop of Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s remarks that his country was focused on fighting terrorists.

“We are fighting terror. Humanity has to decide: are we accommodating terror or are we fighting terror? We saw the worst atrocities possible. We are seeing the worst atrocities possible by a whole campaign of a movement, which has major support from our neighbors,” Herzog told reporters in Israel.

In his comments, the Israeli president blasted leftist TV network CNN for suggesting that his country was committing “war crimes” with its reaction to the Hamas attack.
